This has helped many housewives and mothers to find work and earn money during their free time,

How is a small-scale business better than large scale business?

What is large scale business? A large-scale business is a business that is owned and run by many people. As it demands a large investment, Modern tools, advanced technology, and a large area to set up the factory. They operate all over the country and sometimes all over the world, too. It depends on the business and its optimization on how it works with the community. They don't have a few employees; they hire thousands of people from different cities, like in NCR Delhi. We have Millennium City(Gurgaon), where MNCs from outside the country set up factories to hire people at competitive rates. They spend a huge amount of money on buildings, modern technology, advanced machines, and advertising, MNCS also. There are so many famous companies that come under large-scale businesses like Apple, Samsung, and Tata.

Small-scale business is better than large-scale businesses because they make you feel important, as when you go to a local bakery or to your favorite tailor shop, they usually recognize you by your name or by your face, but it really happens when you go to a mall or to a fancy place, where employees usually don’t have the time to focus on you as an individual. So there is no connection between the customer and the employee, as there is no personal touch.High competition between small and large-scale businesses disadvantages of small businesses against big brands

Small shop  Make street attractive and special, as they look different from big malls that are the same everywhere.. A local craft seller or a family cafe has unique items to sell and to give  Service to people as they adopt some unique or interesting methods to sell their products, their is personal touch in local markets like they hire cartoons and make them dance on the streets to attract customers.

Problems Faced By Small-Scale Businesses

  1. Money Problem

For small businesses, money is very important as they use their savings and borrow money from the neighborhood, and take a loan from a bank to start up their business this is how limited resources affect small businesses.

Silent Struggle of Small-Scale Businesses with money as they have insufficient funds to use, but as compared to big companies  They have sufficient funds, they have shareholders to invest in, as so many people know them.  So if they have a loss in their business at that time, they can survive for a long time, but as compared to small businesses, if they get a loss in business, they get close because they don't have any backup option.

  1. High Competition

The hidden hurdles of small scale business is high competition from large-scale businesses. As they have advantage that they  Buy ingredients in bulk and set their prices cheaper as they spend lot on ads so everyone see their products and buy that as it is advertised at all the platforms but as compared to small businesses they have sufficient funds to invest so they can't buy ingredients in bulk so they have to set their prices quite higher than the large businesses. So by this, the customer went for the cheaper one, as we all know, the prices affect a lot. And they also don't have money to invest in advertising like large brands do, so this is a disadvantage for the small businesses.

  1. Limited Marketing Reach

Large companies have so much funding to spend on advertising, as they hire film stars. They use billboards to advertise their product, but small businesses do not have the resources to advertise their product as they have Marketing limitations.

so they feel invisible in front of the big brands. But it is more effective if a happy customer telling his friends and family to visit the shop to try product or a service It is more effective than the flashy ad that people sometimes ignored and now a days billboards get old fashioned aspeople dont have time to see a billboard and if they do they will forget it later So, nowadays social media is one of the most important thing to advertise the product and  By this both the small business and large business get equal opportunity to advertise their product.

  1. shortage of skilled workers in small-scale businesses

Small-scale businesses face difficulty finding good skill Worker for their businesses, as many skilled workers want work for big companies and brands, as they pay more and give bonuses, and have job security. They have to hire interns for their business as they need proper training to learn their job, and when these interns get perfect in their job, they move on for better paying jobs. This is the quite challenge of small scale busimness, as this makes small businesses feel that places where big companies find new workers, and this is unfair for them. In small businesses, one person has so many responsibility of  Work as there is a lot of stress on one person, as in big companie,s there are a lot walkers for doing the work and the work is divided into many but in small businesses there are less people so there is no division of work so every person have to do lot of work.

  1. Supply Chain Problem

A supply chain is how materials get to a shop. as small businesses face many problems in this, big companies  Buy material in a lot so that the factories give them faster service at a lower price, but in small businesses, they need fewer items and fewer things, so they have to pay more and wait longer for their product.Supply chain challenges This can be very stressful for small businesses as there are delays in their work, As they don't have storage space sothey need their delivery on time. As it is unfair for small businesses because they have to work harder to achieve what they need, and sometimes they have to pay more just to keep their customer happy. And if the supply chain broked they face a lot of problems to make their product.
